Day Seventeen: GTNP

We decided to avoid the crowds and the extended drive and spend the day in GTNP.  We are so glad that we did.  The visitor center was unparalleled with interactive learning stations, ranger-led talks, and video floor panels resembling a running river. 

The children got their junior ranger packets, Rob borrowed a "naturalist's backpack," and we took four hours to explore the other side of Jenny Lake.  We found the Hidden Falls and made the hike up to Inspiration Point.
