We started off in Sterling, Colorado -- about two hours northeast of Denver. After an uneventful drive into the city, Rob dropped Jenna and the children off at the Denver Zoo and went to meet Eric and Stacey Burton for brunch. Though the Burtons attended Jenna and Rob's wedding in 1999, Rob and Eric's friendship dates back to the beginning of high school in 1985.
Rob was very happy to have had the opportunity to see his old, dear friend and to spend time catching up over a delicious meal of eggs, potatoes, and roasted vegetables. Thankfully, at the end of their time together, Eric and Stacey followed Rob back to the Zoo and got to eyeball the children. The Burtons then headed back to Colorado Springs and the Brownsons were off to Rocky Mountain National Park.
