Day Five: Couchsurfing in Columbus, Indiana with Chris and Frank

When we arrived to Chris and Frank's home in Columbus, we had the sensation of being welcomed by old friends.  Chris cooked us some legendary alfredo with fresh vegetables on the side with crusty bread.  Then, as if we were not content with "bellies fat and full," she made a dessert -- which Jenna named the Himalayan -- of angel food cake, lemon curd, lemon sorbet, and fresh blueberries.

The children were given free range and took full advantage with Chris and Frank's grandchildren's toys.  (I know, hard to believe that those two have grandchildren -- ten of them!)

Tomorrow, we hope to explore the architectural wonders of Columbus -- one of the 1,000 Places You Must See Before You Die.

  1. Sure beats a restaurant dinner and a hotel! Looks like a great time is being had by one and all....

  2. You guys are the coolest family! Frank and I really enjoyed your visit and I miss your kids already. All the food compliments didn't hurt either. I love this pic...I may have to add it to our minimalist photo collection. LOL
